ITINERARY
Day 1: Hue – Bach Ma National Park

08:00 Depart for Bach Ma National Park. Upon arrival, visit the park information center to learn about the flora, fauna, and trekking routes in Bach Ma National Park.

Continue by vehicle to the trailhead. Begin the hike to Do Quyen Waterfall, one of Bach Ma’s most iconic natural attractions, with a drop of over 300 metres. Enjoy the forest scenery and have a picnic lunch by the stream.

14:00 Return to the trail and continue toward the camping area. In the afternoon, enjoy a walk through the forest and observe how the vegetation changes with elevation. With luck, guests may spot wildlife such as langurs or birds typical of the park’s mountain forest ecosystem.

Continue onward toward the summit area of Bach Ma for sweeping mountain views.

18:00 Walk back down toward the rest area and campsite.

19:00 Dinner at the restaurant / camp area and overnight in the national park.

Day 2: Bach Ma National Park - Hue

08:00 Breakfast at the campsite / accommodation.

After breakfast, continue the trek through Bach Ma National Park. Follow the Do Quyen – Ngu Ho route to explore the famous Five Lakes, a chain of clear mountain pools set among rocks and forest.

Continue along the forest trail, passing the medicinal plant garden and learning more about the park’s diverse ecosystem.

12:00 Lunch break.

After lunch, return by vehicle to Hue.

* If it’s a private tour, the vehicle can take you to Da Nang or Hoi An.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Trekking Notes

  • Distance: The trekking route is approximately 6 to 7 km per day.
  • Terrain: The route features a steep, narrow, and winding road with numerous sharp hairpin bends, meandering through pristine primary forest. Dense, lush greenery lines both sides of the trail, while multiple mountain passes and occasional mist create the sensation of traveling through the clouds.
  • Suitability: This route is ideal for most fitness levels, including beginners, but not for children under the age of 14.

  • Reduce Plastic Waste: To limit single-use plastics, we encourage everyone to bring a reusable Reusable bottle (minimum 1L capacity). Refill stations will be provided throughout the trip.
  • Local Regulations: We kindly ask all guests to comply with the specific environmental regulations and instructions provided by our guides at the destination.

3. Health & Safety

  • Medical Considerations: Your safety is our priority. If you have a history of cardiovascular conditions or chronic joint issues (knees, ankles, shoulders, etc.), please consult with your doctor before booking this trip.
  • Physical fitness: Train by running or kayaking/SUP at least two weeks in advance. Run 2–3 sessions per week, about 5 km per session. Alternatively, paddle 2–3 sessions per week, covering 5–7 km per session.
  • Transparency: Please inform our tour guide of any existing health conditions or allergies at the start of the journey so we can support you best.
