The Huong River is not only a beautiful river but also a cultural and historical symbol of Hue. Paddleboarding from Thien Mu Pagoda to Lim Wood Bridge is a peaceful and poetic journey, taking you along the calm waters of the former imperial capital. Starting from Hue’s iconic riverside pagoda, you will glide past green riverbanks, quiet villages, and the gentle scenery that makes this route so special. Thien Mu Pagoda is one of Hue’s best-known landmarks on the Huong River, and Lim Wood Bridge is a scenic riverside pedestrian bridge in central Hue.

ITINERARY
Hue City Center – Thien Mu Pagoda – Lim Wood Bridge

08:00 or 14:00 The guide and driver from Umove Adventure will pick you up at the meeting point and transfer the group to Thien Mu Pagoda. After around 15–20 minutes of travel, we will arrive at the pagoda, where guests will be provided with SUP boards and all necessary equipment.

After preparing the boards for the paddling trip along the Huong River, the guide will give a short introduction to basic paddling techniques and safety rules for paddleboarding on the river. Personal belongings can be stored on the support boat throughout the trip.

We will then begin paddling downstream toward Hue City. The destination of the trip is Lim Wood Bridge. Along the way, we will stop at Da Vien Islet for a short break and enjoy light snacks. After around 20 minutes of rest at Da Vien Islet, we will continue paddling past Da Vien Bridge and head to the finishing point at Lim Wood Bridge.

  • For private tours, guests can pay an additional fee to visit Thien Mu Pagoda.
  • When visiting cultural or spiritual sites, guests are required to wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts.
