IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Paddle boarding notes.

  • Distance: Approximately 6–8 km, depending on the selected route and water conditions.
  • Route: Experience Hanoi from a completely different perspective as you paddle along the iconic Red River during the golden hours of the afternoon. The journey follows a gentle downstream route, passing beneath historic bridges, peaceful sandbanks, riverside gardens, and traditional fishing communities that seem worlds away from the city's bustling streets. As the sun begins to set, the river is bathed in warm golden light, creating one of the most spectacular urban paddling experiences in Vietnam.
  • Suitability: Suitable for most fitness levels and an excellent choice for beginners with basic water confidence. Previous SUP experience is helpful but not required, as a comprehensive safety briefing and paddling instruction are provided before departure. Active families are welcome, and children aged 10 and above can comfortably participate when accompanied by an adult.
  • Safety Notes: A certified life jacket and SUP safety leash must be worn throughout the activity. Stay alert for motorboats, fishing vessels, floating debris, and changing currents while maintaining a safe distance from bridges and other watercraft. Follow your guide's instructions at all times and avoid paddling beyond the designated route. A dry bag is recommended for personal belongings, and participants should be comfortable swimming in open water.
