DESCRIBE

If you are looking for a serious multi-day mountain adventure in northern Vietnam, this journey is an excellent choice. Rising to 3,049 metres, Pu Ta Leng is widely recognized as one of Vietnam’s highest and most rewarding trekking peaks. What makes this route especially memorable is the landscape itself: ancient forest, moss-covered ground, streams, cloud-filled valleys, and the famous rhododendron bloom that turns the mountain into one of the Northwest’s most spectacular seasonal trekking destinations. This is the ideal trip for travelers who want a tougher, more immersive mountain experience with wilderness camping, summit achievement, and deep forest scenery rather than a short or easy hike.

Highlights

  • Conquer Pu Ta Leng Peak (3,049 m)
  • Trek one of Vietnam’s most beautiful primeval forest routes
  • Experience one of the Northwest’s most famous rhododendron trails
  • Camp in the mountains for a deeper wilderness experience
  • Recover after the trek with a traditional Dao herbal bath in Sapa
