Lan Ha Bay has a crescent shape, surrounded by over 400 large and small islands. The name "Lan Ha" means "the orchid flower that descends to Earth for a beautiful life." Although it does not have as many islands surrounding it as Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay is notable for having 139 small sandy beaches, such as Ang Vem, Cat Dua Beach, and Cat Co Beach. If you don’t have much time to explore the entire Lan Ha Bay, you only need half a day of kayaking in the central area of the bay to reach the most beautiful spots of this kayaking paradise.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Notes on the Kayaking Route

  • Before starting the kayaking session, the guide will provide instructions on paddling techniques and important safety guidelines for the route. You must wear life jackets properly.
  • While kayaking in the bay, be careful to avoid obstacles such as reefs and other boats. Do not paddle too close to rock walls if there are waves, as the waves can push you into sharp barnacles on the rocks.
  • We will have a boat that supports us from Beo wharf to the kayaking starting point and from there back to Beo wharf when finished. In case we need support from the boat, the tour guide will call the boat to request assistance.

2. Drink

  • Drinking water per day will be about 1L/person. To help reduce single-use plastic bottles, we encourage you to bring a water bottle to get water from the large tank on the boat.

3. Protecting the environment together

  • We supports and practices Leave No Trace principles in each program and outdoor activities itself. We also encourage our customers and partners to apply to Leave No Trace principles when traveling in the outdoor environment. See details about the Leave No Trace tại đây
  • In order to limit the use of single-use plastic, we encourages each of us to prepare for ourselves a bottle of water with a 1L capacity for daily water refilling.
  • On the tour, tourists comply with the instructions and regulations on environmental protection at the destination.

4. Medical assistance

  • If you have cardiovascular disease or bone and joint diseases (knees, ankles, shoulder joints, etc.), you should consult your doctor before deciding to join the trip.
  • In any case, if you go into the water to swim, you must wear a life jacket.
