8.30 Meet your guide at your hotel and depart for Ba Vi National Park, located around 50km from Hanoi. For those seeking a more adventurous experience, riding a motorbike is also a great option.
Upon arrival, begin with a relaxing visit to the Cactus Garden, home to around 1,200 species of cactus. We then continue to the pine forest, where you can enjoy a peaceful walk and enjoy the fresh atmosphere of the area.
The journey continues through dense vegetation to explore the fascinating ruins left by the French colonial period, including an old church, former summer camps, and a military zone. At the 600-meter level, you will also learn about the historic battle of the Ba Vi Regiment on December 31, 1951, an important victory that helped lead to the success of the Hoa Binh Campaign in 1952. Along the way, you will have the chance to walk through the jungle and admire ancient cypress trees as well as the rich flora and fauna of the park.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant nearby and taste specialties from the mountainous region of Ba Vi.
Continue your wonderful hiking trip by visit Thuong temple – a hollowed site for worshipping Tan Vien Saint. From here, a short climb brings you to Tan Vien Peak or the viewpoint, where drifting clouds and mist create a magical atmosphere. The journey then continues to King Peak, where you will climb 779 stone steps to visit the Ho Chi Minh Temple and Bao Thien Tower, two of the most revered sites in Ba Vi National Park.
Return to your car and get back Hanoi. Tour ends at your hotel.
