ITINERARY
Day 1: Cuc Phuong National Park (Birding & Night Safari)

Starting at early morning 5-6am

Our team Viet Wildlife Trips, We will pick you up at your accommodation within Ninh Binh Province in the early morning to go to Cuc Phuong National Park (1 hours by transfer).

Established in 1962, Cuc Phuong is well known as the first National Park of Vietnam, it locates in 3 provinces: Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa. There are about 2000 species of vascular plants , more than 100 species of mammals , 36 reptilian species, 17 species of amphibians, 2000 species of insects, 11 species of fish, almost 400 species of  birds and endemic species. Cuc Phuong National Park is an ideal destination for all who want to explore Wildlife and bird watching in the tropical rainforest.

There are  typical species distributed in the tropical rainforests in Viet Nam, such as:

We will enjoy lunch at the Park Center in the middle of primary forest. 

After lunch, we keep exploring the primary forest, visit ancient trees and looking for wild animals.

Night Safari

Starting at late afternoon 6-7:00pm

An unique experience of going to explore the Cuc Phuong Jungle at night will be a highlight of your Vietnam Trip. Cuc Phuong is well known as the first National Park of Vietnam. This is an ideal destination for all who want to explore Wildlife in the tropical rainforest.

6:30 – 7:00  Dinner time in Bong Center
7:00- 10:00  Night spotting time
10:00 Tour finish, we will take you back to your hotel.

Day 2: Van Long Nature Reserve – Fullday

Target species: Delacour’s Langur (Trachypithecus delacouri)

The Delacour’s Langur is an endemic, Critically endangered species that with a population of less than 300 individuals left in the wild. These monkeys are only distributed in the northern region of Vietnam. This is your opportunity to capture wonderful moments of their life on limestone mountain.

5.00 am  We will start going to the core protected area where these Langurs are living to capture the moment when they are foraging.

10.00 am  We will return to the restaurant for having breakfast and take a break. This is also the langur’s resting time.

13:00 pm  We will have lunch and some coffee.

14.00 – 16.00 pm  We will do a Bamboo boat trip to the depths of limestone mountains where Delacour’s Langur lives. With patience we will capture the moments when the adult langurs grooming their baby on the cliffs before going to their sleeping cave.

After that driver will take you back to your hotel and say good bye Viet wildlife trips.
