Ha Noi – Cuc Phuong National Park

Starting at early morning 5-6am

Our team Viet Wildlife Trips welcome and pick you up at Noi Bai Airport or Hanoi City in the early morning to go to Cuc Phuong National Park (3 hours by transfer).

Established in 1962, Cuc Phuong is well known as the first National Park of Vietnam, it locates in 3 provinces: Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa. There are about 2000 species of vascular plants , more than 100 species of mammals , 36 reptilian species, 17 species of amphibians, 2000 species of insects, 11 species of fish, almost 400 species of  birds and endemic species. Cuc Phuong National Park is an ideal destination for all who want to explore Wildlife and bird watching in the tropical rainforest.

There are  typical species distributed in the tropical rainforests in Viet Nam, such as:

  • Visiting the Endangered Primate Rescue Center and the semi – wild area.

The Endangered Primate Rescue Ceter was Established in 1993 EPRC is a not for profit project dedicated to the rescue rehabilitation breeding, research and conservation of Vietnam’s endangered and critically endangered primate species 25 species of Vietnam’s primates are on the edge of extinction’and 11 species listed as Critically Endangered .

When you are here you will see 220 individuals primates of 15 different species and subspecies and many Endemic species found only in Vietnam such as :

 Grey- Shanked Duoc Langur(Pygathrix Cinerea),  Red-Shanked Douc Langur(Pygathrix nemaeus),  Golden-Headed Langur/ Cat Ba Langur( Trachipithecus poliocephalus),  Delacour’s Langur( Trachypithecus delacouri),  Silvered Langur ( Trachypithecus cristatus),  Indochinese Gray Langur(Trachypithecus phayrei),  Ha Tinh Langur(Trachypithecus laotum hatinhensis),  Black Langur( Trachypithecus laotum ebenus),  Yellow-Cheeked Crested Gibbon( Nonmascus gabriellae),  White – Cheeked Crested Gibbon(Nonmascu leucogenys),  Sow Loris ( Nycticebus coucang),  Pygmy Loris (Nycticebus pygmaeus).

We will enjoy lunch at the Park Center in the middle of primary forest. 

After lunch, we keep exploring the primary forest, visit ancient trees and looking for wild animals

In the late afternoon at (5-6pm):                        

 After having a great day we departure from Cuc Phuong National Park  to Ha Noi or Noi Bai International Airport for drop off location and say goodbye !
